Mark Haynes joins our team at McLaren Beverly Hills as a true automotive expert. Passionate throughout his twenty year career in the automotive industry, Mark has had an emphasis on customer accommodation. Throughout his career, Mark has had the opportunity to work with manufacturers such as Ferrari, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Lexus, Land Rover, and Jaguar and is well versed in all luxury and exotic car makers.
Before becoming a part of the automotive industry, Mark proudly served as a United States Marine. And it was here that Mark’s character and values developed, especially with people. Mark says, “This is one reason why customer satisfaction is so important to me, I always keep my promises.”
Mark says he is extremely excited and devoted to the McLaren Beverly Hills team and brand. He understands that McLaren is about an entire ownership experience and that buying a McLaren is much more than a transaction, but rather the beginning of a relationship. Mark says, “If there is one thing I have learned throughout my time in this industry, it is one very important thing…the customer always comes first.”
Joe Van De Veere
Joe Van De Veere is an expert in high-performance sports cars and luxury automobiles. Joe has worked with Aston Martin for ten years and was Sales Director at Galpin Aston Martin in Los Angeles for the last eight of them, since 2004. A life-long “car guy,” Joe has a comprehensive knowledge of high-performance sports cars, augmented with his mechanical and electrical expertise. Joe grew up in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s, during the legendary CanAm racing series, and was inevitably drawn to McLaren for their undeniable success and merely the fact that “the orange car always won.” Today, McLaren Automotive has recognized The Auto Gallery as a premier dealer, ideal for spearheading their fanatical pursuit of perfection. Now, Joe wishes to combine McLaren’s intention to expand upon their peerless racing experience and produce the world’s most outstanding road driving experience with The Auto Gallery’s mission of providing their clientele the ultimate purchasing and ownership experiences.
Motivated by his vision of bringing his unique, personal touch to the acquisition of these tremendous cars, Joe brings with him a standard for customer service which is simply unparalleled. Joe understands what being an automotive enthusiast is about. While his mother jokes that his first word was “car,” it more likely started in 1969 when Joe was five, and he was wandering pit lane at Riverside International Raceway with his father. The explosive burble of a Ford GT40 sidling down pit lane burned an indelible image into his psyche – and ignited a passion - which remains to this day. By the age of 16, Joe was building and rebuilding cars from the ground up. Machining, metal work, electrical, and more; Joe was inspired to learn all he could about cars from many books and from his experience rebuilding his own cars. In a day when all his friend were building their cars to be competitive in a straight line, Joe’s car stood out as the exception, having been built especially for quickly carving up the mountain canyons near his house in Colorado. At least within the automotive world, Joe’s mechanical and electrical knowledge is nothing short of extensive, and it’s evidenced every time he explains a particular technology involved in your car, or the benefits to driving enjoyment it will impart to your experience. Joe’s time with Galpin Aston Martin and in the automotive industry have garnered great rapport within the sports, luxury, and exotic car communities as an authentic representation of a true automotive enthusiast, able to communicate not only the technical and dynamic abilities of cars like Aston Martin and Jaguar, but also the ethos – the lifestyle – each marque speaks to.
Having built several of his own cars from the ground up, Joe has a great appreciation for vehicle technology and tremendous respect for those who devote themselves to perfecting it – McLaren is the perfect match for what he brings to the fore.
